There is a lot of detail required to make this work, which was discussed here 4 years ago. If you just want a simple sine oscillator then the SVF is the way to go (which my circuit is very close to). The difficulty is, as Ian highlighted, in controlling the feedback to control amplitude. Bill and Dave got it right 70 years ago with the incandescent lamp!
There is an alternative sine oscillator discussed in the Wiard part of Muff that is interesting too,
