Agreed (of course), but there is a possible hitch: Because dropmix.xs4all.nl is a subdomain of xs4all.nl, then it probably isn't possible to host that domain anywhere outside xs4all.nl without an extreme exception. I get the impression that xs4all is not going to be antagonistic.

I do have one question: It appears that synth-diy is already hosted at xs4all, so what would it mean to move it to xs4all? Is dropmix a private host that's separate from any xs4all mailing list services? If so, then would a move necessitate a slight domain name change?

I'm asking because Rick seemed to imply that he was hosting the list on a server located at his residence (and that was subject to go away soon), rather than on a server that is co-located at a facility that's not likely to move.
