Sounds reasonable - I'd be happy to be an alternate admin if that was 
seen as useful.

I could arrange hosting on ozlabs.org - a machine run by an informal 
co-operative of folk [1] - mostly friends of mine - but perhaps most 
usefully it's got a couple of very experienced and capable sysadmins who 
keep things ticking over.

Ozlabs.org uses the same mailing list software as is already used for 
synth-diy and runs a number of very high traffic mailing lists already 
without ado.

I'd be happy to assist with the transition and ongoing admin of the list 
if you so wished Rick.
