[sdiy] Midi 3.5mm cable

Hey Tim,

I’ve been looking into the same thing.
What has thrown me off is the DIN pin numbering, which is weird and goes: 1, 4, 2, 5, 3 (1 and 3 being the outer pins)
The wiring appears to be:

Tip: pin 4
Ring: pin 5
Sleeve: pin 2

I’m still to test this, but I’ve found a couple of references which show this setup
