Short correction: I was wrong. The substrate is connected to about -1V,
so everything is fine in this regard.
It also dissipates 300mW peak at about 24mA collector current with a
nice linear power dissipation ramp between the opamp output voltages
-10V to -8V.
From all heater schematics that I've seen so far the Prodigy seems to
be the most solid.
