Silvered mica caps were the filter caps in SEM/OBX filters. Maybe the
dielectric absorption isn't ideal for VCOs but they sure work well in
SVFs.
Polystyrene is preferable for VCOs but they won't tolerate temperature
> 85C on the leads, can't be flow soldered.
