[sdiy] Cleaning plastic fronts on old synths

No, that is the problem. It seems to be inbedded into the plastic  
somehow.

Exactly. That is what I am afrid might happen if I get too rough.

Thanks. Yes, it is kind of satin in apperance. Unfortunately the  
withish stuff is all over the place (the surface is flat).
