Speaking of the Apple II clones (*), has anyone seen a clone of the alphaSyntauri? I guess many of the modern DIY 8-bit boards based on simple SOC parts would count, especially considering how basic the Syntauri was in terms of analog.

I'm not really sure that an alphaSyntauri clone would be desirable, due to the crappy analog circuits. But 8-bit grunge is very popular.

* By the way, there were many Apple II clones. The Apple I was a kit, and many people made their own. Wikipedia lists 72 separate clones, presumably all commercial. I think the only thing that makes my clone somewhat unique is that my uncle and his friends were PCB designers and made their own boards professionally, rather than buying a third-party PCB.
