I wouldn't know why they would become systematically better or worse with
size. However, smaller sizes often mean that the material is employed
closer to its intrinsic limits and that makes any non-idealities show up
more prominently. BTW, if the non-ideality you're interested in is
dielectric absorption, then C0G is a good, but not the best choice.
