You are right of course. +3 glasses are not something you should wear if you don't need them normally. It's not comfortable at all, and only sensible for (very) short periods, when you would need some magnification. As I said, the depth of vision is very short, things are only sharp 20-30 cm, and you must not even try to look at anything else than your work when wearing these.
It is só comforting I'm not alone with this. *sobs*
