So far, the best I found would be to ‘unite’ 2 Hammond 1550G side by side

But with their united sides sawed before uniting them ( with their side removed).

So their ‘U’ shaped sides would be screwed together.

This would give a ( 8.7 inches x 2 large) by 5.7 inches deep enclosure.

The height would be the result of the bottom angle sawed to give like

one inch high at the front and around 2.5 inches at rear.

The final bottom can be any metal plate with rubber feet.

I’ll probably use some kind of self-adhesive silkscreen top

To hide any junctions of both enclosure and give

A professional look.

Thank you all for your thoughts !

I'm looking for a diecast aluminum enclosure
to build a footswitch board with 12 pushbutton switches..
I'm looking for something like this:

http://www.hammondmfg.com/1590B2_B.jpg

But BIGGER !
Something like 15"wide x 12"deep x 2"thick max.
A slant top would be fine too.

Hammond enclosures web site has a whole collection of
diecast enclosures but they are all 'boxy' instead
of being flat. When the enclosure is large enough
the thickness is too high for footswitching..

I found some slant enclosures but they are not large
and deep enough and are made of 1/16" thick aluminum (not diecast)
that would bend with many actions on the switches.
Not very reliable..

If anybody has a link on something..
Thanks

You could use the kinds of chassis people use for guitar amps. Maybe not dicast aluminum though. Something like this: https://www.amplifiedparts.com/products/P-H1441-26

Although this one is 16"x8"x2", not 15x12 like you said. There is a 17x10x2 that this site had but it's special order only, whatever that means for them.
