IMO it sounds like an exploding Fiat Panda too. Although the sequencer was *far* ahead of its time - very clever design indeed.

Still. Apparently only 30 were ever made, and only 3 are still fully working.

EMS used to offer to build you one to order. But considering the waiting list for new VCS3s is years long, I’m not sure if they still do.

P.S. Stockhausen made an album with a Synthi 100. I tried listening to it - once.
