One way would be to use markers on your timeline. You should be able to assign a controller to jump forwards or backwards along the timeline. Or you could assign a midi foot switch to jump to any marker you choose.
Or, you could use a plug in with chord sequencing that you could trigger with 'one-shot'. I think Sugar-bytes has one that could work for you!
