Subject: [sdiy] Loctite 648 on fader knobs?
Hi,
I've recently replaced some faders and the new ones have a slightly smaller
shaft, so the knobs don't quite stay on.
I'm thinking of using a small dot of Loctite 648 but wanted to know if
there's a better solution?
Many thanks in advance
Rob

Hi Rob,
I've used a hot melt glue gun (with a fine tip designed for small crafts) on
loose knobs in the past. It doesn't really adhere too firmly to either
plastic or metal, so it can be removed fairly easily later. To mirror
what others have said, I'd do this on my own gear, but probably not for
someone else's
Dave
