[sdiy] Solder resist/mask?

there are vertical mount 3.5mm PCB mount sockets available where the tip of the
jack might touch the PCB surface (depending on the dip/jack shape/length - there
is no strict standard AFAIK). today i take no risk and even put a hole in the
PCB underneatch these sockets.
