[sdiy] the white whale - modular synth patch memory

To be honest: A classic (not storable) modular synth compared to a
modular synth with a patch memory, is like a Leonard Bernsteins Steinway
compared to a role mechanism played kintop piano.

The art is not reproducing the instruments sound, the art is creating
the sound.

Drop that plan and get a Nord Modular, which is a lot of fun - but I
admit: as soon as I have stored a patch, I will never use it again (with
a very few exceptions).
