[sdiy] Anyone fix an Optigan?

I've been dreaming of the day when I could get the most elusive,
ridiculous, cha-cha machine ever and this weekend thanks to a good friend
it finally happened. I picked up an Optigan.

Not surprisingly it is completely DOA (doesn't even power up). I bought 
the service manuals and info (from

)  and am wondering where to start. Perhaps the fuse?

I would GLADLY have a tech fix this if I could but don't know of anyone
who might even dare take a stab at it locally (I'm in Phila Pa USA).

does anyone on these lists have any experience with optigan repair? I'm
pretty sure I can do the button cleaning tricks but I need nto bring it to
life first.
