Well, according to the website you can store 2 projects locally:

"In CircuitMaker, there are actually 2 locations where your project
can be stored, either as:

* a public project stored in the CircuitMaker Community Vault. You
remain the owner of a public project, others can open and view it, but
cannot edit and save changes to your design until you configure them
as Team members.
* a private project stored on your PC. CircuitMaker supports 2 private
projects, which are stored in your own Sandbox. You can develop the
project in the Sandbox until you're ready to release it to the broader
CircuitMaker community."

Although 2 is rather limiting I guess it's about all you paid for?

I'm going to give it a go at any rate mostly out of curiosity.
