I don't know about the effect in models, but in a real 808 and 606, changing
the trigger pulse width has a very significant effect on the sound.
After all, the trigger pulse is the fundamental sound source being filtered
by the twin-T circuits.
Here's a 606 bass drum having its trigger pulse swept from about 0.2ms to
around 6ms.
