True, that. Which is why I feel like a bit of a nitwit for not asking
earlier. I'd been spinning my mental wheels for a while on this,
even though I'd already seen the op-amp version of the circuit
as diagrammed in Jung's IC OP-AMP COOKBOOK (one of my favourite
technical books of all time, FWIW).
