[sdiy] TR 606 Din Sync problem

I've seen this same failure on other products - I had a Dr Rhythm drum machine with the same problem. Those PCB mounting DIN MIDI sockets provide quite a bit of leverage when you push a socket in that tends to force the pins down through the board and cracks the tracks or the joints. Adam's right - often you can only see the cracks when you push the DIN socket or flex the PCB.
Having fixed my drum machine a couple of times only to have it fail again, I eventually sorted it out by reinforcing the joints with tinned wire round the pins and along the PCB tracks.
