Hi guys,

I'm setting up reference currents for several Eurorack modules (level shifting purposes, logic level references and potentiometer references). I'm using two LM4040's to get +/-5V  reference voltages from +/-12V supply and trying to calculate the current limiting resistor in the LM4040's circuit.

This leads me to the question of the current demands of potentiometers. Say, I have a 10K potentiometer for filter cutoff wired between my + and -5V references, with the wiper going to a 100K-impedance inverting amplifier section. What would be the current load for the +5V and -5V reference supplies?
