[sdiy] Personal Pcb milling machines ???

Hi,

I can tell you that unless you have a full-on system then it is not 
worth it. I used an old LPKF machine and it did well. But no plated 
through holes meant that you could not run traces under connectors. And 
no solder mask made for a pain when soldering. Also the cutting bits 
were $40 each (1988 dollars). The new LPKF can do plated holes and 
solder mask, but we are talking 5 figures.

When you can go to places like DF Robot and get small boards for 
$9.50/10 with a 1 week turn, I'm not sure a PCB router is the way to go.
