Yes, definitely agree with that.  That's negative feedback doing it's 
classic thing of flattening and widening the frequency response.  (Two of 
the main reasons why negative feedback is used in almost all modern 
amplifier designs!  The other major benefit is "linearisation" or reducing 
distortion.)
