Hi Maarten,
> Can someone recommend some small medium/good quality probes.
I like the probes from www.probemaster.com. Nicely made, and
certainly good enough for HP and Tek scopes.
> And I am also looking for a solder fume extractor,
At work we have an Oki extractor:
http://www.conrad-electronic.co.uk/ce/en/product/588334/OKI-by-Metcal-Soldering-Fume-Extractor
but that may be a bit too big and expensive for you. At home I use a
Cliff extractor
http://www.cliffuk.co.uk/products/tools/cliffume.htm
smaller and lighter but not necessarily quiet. If you really do need
quiet then the only real option is to have the extractor pump away
from the bench, with a fat extraction tube up to bench level,
something like this:

Cheers,
Neil
