Does that interface output trigger pulses of a particular duration?  The 
reason that I ask is that some of the analogue drum voices may sound wrong 
if they aren't triggered with pulses of the correct width.  For instance the 
TR-808 uses 1ms wide trigger pulses, and the TR-909 uses 2ms trigger pulses. 
Many of their drum voices sound quite different if the trigger pulses aren't 
the right duration, while others aren't affected much by the trigger pulse 
width.  Just something to keep in mind.
