I don't think there is an infallible colour code.
If you type 1% metal film and 1% carbon film into Google image,
you get quite a mix of colours.
I have had both carbon and metal film in the same shade of blue.

I suppose sacrificing one to the file would prove it, if one knew
exactly what to look for (I don't!).
