I’m doing my “Electronics for Music Synthesis” class again this semester, which I’ve renamed “Analog Circuits for Music Synthesis” to be more specific.

One of my final project teams built the sawtooth oscillator core from the Rhodes Chroma. While playing around with its frequency modulation input, one of my students grabbed his cellphone and captured the proceedings:
