[sdiy] <OT> Job status, plastic repair

25 years at the one job... I know the feeling.

For those who don't know it, Barry's book is a great overview of  
synthesis electronics with loads of practical circuits and analysis of  
commonly used chips such as the CA3280, the CEMs and the SSMs. Chip  
datasheets are at the back. I bought mine... er, maybe 15 or more  
years ago when I was starting to get my head around this stuff.

Thanks Barry and good luck with your next adventure (and the  
Andromedas!)
