[sdiy] <OT> Job status, plastic repair

First off, I was laid off at WDC with a couple hundred or so others
yesterday. Severance package not so bad - for being there 25 years just
last month.
So as a result, my barry.l.klein at wdc.com email is no longer - just get me at
barryklein at cox.net. Please advise how I can shut down the synth_DIY
subscription to the WDC address (or will the system see the bounces and take
care of it?)
Also, as a result, I have lost my "publisher" for the few Electronic Music
Circuits (and Databooks) I send out. I was getting them printed by the WDC
copy center at a low enough cost to make it worthwhile taking the effort.
I only have a few left and not anxious to get more printed as without a
website few even learn about it. Hopefully an electronic version coming in
the future.
I recently met a guy that uses Amazon Createspace to print his books (about
the same number of pages) and he sells the finished copies for $15 each. It
would cost me that to print one now...

I still haven't gotten back to the Andromeda, but I suspect it will produce
sound etc. Guess what - I bought another one.
This one has the same fault. I switched out the resonator with an xtal but
haven't tried it yet. This one had a ton of dust inside! A few of the
plastic end cap mounting standoffs were broken.
What do you guys recommend for a plastic glue for these? I never have had
any luck with plastic glues or epoxies. None of them actually melt the
plastic and form a bond.

Barry
