I tried several times yesterday to post this comment from my phone with no
success.  Trying now from laptop. 

I built a small circuit to add a trigger input for my TR-9090.  This circuit
was donated by a fairly well-known designer/manufacturer of Euro-rack
modules, but to prevent people seeking support he has asked to remain
anonymous.
