Yes to all said before - the DG ranges (think I've used 403, 408, 409,
442 in designs) are the way to go - cross compare Vishay and Intersil as
they seem to have slightly different offerings.
I've not really looked at Maxim chips - they don't always seem commonly
available - and looking at the MAX4053 now, well.. the power is
basically the same as regular 4000 series.
I haven't seen any DG range direct replacements for the 4052/3 (4051 is
easy enough as a simple 8/1 mux)
For completeness, Analog Devices also do some Analog Switches - ADG
range - but, as with most AD chips, they seem overly expensive!
