As Gordon says, replacement is going to be the only way forward. I've 
tried all sorts of things to clean tact switches, but none of the them 
worked particularly well. And if you pull one apart you'll see why - the 
coating that prevents the contact surface from tarnishing has simply 
worn off with use.

Tact switches should be easy to get - but they come in all shapes and 
sizes. And just when you think you've found one, when you buy it, you'll 
find something about it that is not quite right. If you can get them 
from your local Roland spares place then that's usually the safest bet.
