Which aspect of SDIY are you interested in?  SDIY covers a broad range
of topics.  A starter list might include:
- component identification
- soldering
- analogue electronic circuit design
- digital electronic circuit design
- test equipment (choosing, using, etc)
- making sounds with a modular synth
- circuit bending
- etc....
