OPA 134 is a good choice. I am in the process of re-designing the Elekto
Formant VCO (Draft here:
http://www.haraldswerk.de/NGF/NGF_VCO_CORE_ONE/VCO_CORE_ONE.html) and
tried various OpAmps i have laying around (Tl051, 061, 071, 081, OP27,
LF356...). OPA134 gives the best performance.
High impedance is needed for good low octave and high speed for good
high octave performance.

What is a good modern amp for this application? Or if you prefer, what kind of amp is needed here? Precision? High speed? I have used an OP37 and an OPA602 with good results, but I am hoping for an inexpensive alternative.
