[sdiy] Wood working cv jacks!?

Recently I have been working with a custom wood shop for some custom Xmas stuff 


The boxes are great for gtr stuff BUT don't go thin enough for cv jacks 

As he doesn't recommend making panel faces less than 1/4" thick or thicker for controls on a wooden box


 kobiconn shafts are very small!!!

So anyone know of 1/8" jacks avail at mouser with bigger shafts? 

Or bigger body style  ??
