In the end I used Absolute Calibration ( http://www.absolutecal.co.uk
). Not only were they marginally cheaper than RS, but I think the
service is possibly better - they collected and delivered in their own
van (I guess they have a lot of customers in Cambridge) on a 7-day
turnaround, they used a Datron 4808 calibrator, PAT tested it, and the
calibration certificate is fully detailed.
I would definitely recommend them, and will definitely use them again.
I now have documented confidence in the readings taken by my HP
3478A.
Cheers,
Neil
