I agree with Colin. It's much safer and quicker to just replace the
whole PSU with a modern alternative, unless you enjoy the challange of
fixing a SMPS and the excitment of unexpected explosions! There's also
much less chance of you doing further damage to the TX802 with a known
good replacement power supply.
