[sdiy] Good Bench lamp? possibly w magnifier?

While at Productronica I've seen two really cool magnifying systems:

1. the LICO. Fairly expensive IIRC, but great quality. Owner is an
engineer and operates the company and does the engineering work.

2. The Vision Engineering Lynx stereo microscope. Probably out of
anyone's price range, but absolutely amazing:

I also know that Aoyue makes fairly inexpensive lamps, both LED and CCFL.
