Kevin's joke as to why other synth legends weren't invited to speak at
the Pacific Northwest Synth Meeting September 25, 2004:
With a late night TV show inspired list, here's my "Other Synth Legends
and why they weren't invited to speak" list:
John Simonton: He'd try to reinvent the meeting with as few people as
possible.
I. Kakehashi: He'd only take notes at first, but would later try to
dominate the meeting.
Don Buchla: He'd wanted to come in through the window if everyone else
was using the door.
Serge/Rex Probe: He wouldn't attend anyways.
Phil C.: He'd probably visit, but we can't get ahold of him.
Paul S: He'd attend, but wanted the chairs placed within .01 inch of
each other.
Roger A. He'd attend, but wanted less expensive chairs placed just the
same way Bob Moog preferred.
K. Macbeth: Was feared he'd say the same things as the other designers,
only better.
J. Bergfors: Demanded that all speakers wear dayglo shirts and pants.
B. Duncan: There are no Canadian synth legends!
