I don't think you'd need square wave CV. Just use a 'scope with DC input for the signal output, calibrate your screen to show the resolution you care about, and then apply CV. You should see any feed through as a DC offset on the signal output. A square wave CV might make it easier to get a high level view of how much bleed there is, but you'd find it easier to measure with a DC CV, I think. Also, once you've established that there is bleed-through using the 'scope, you could probably measure it with a 4-digit meter.
