[sdiy] Ladder filter analysis

While we're (approximately) on the topic, what's the relationship
between the "traditional" ladder filter and the one done with current
mirrors in the SSM2044?  My (basically amateur) analysis is that
everything should work out basically the same way.  Do SSM2044 filters
have the audio input -> cutoff effect that colin f was talking about?
