Hi again Tim,
oh, I'm terribly sorry, my brain slipped. For a long while I thought
you wrote dual-BEAM. I have a couple of them, and they are quite
bizarre. You are right, the 2236 (as most other decent scopes) is a
dual-TRACE, also known as a dual-CHANNEL scope. They can simulate
dual-beam with their "chop" and partly also "alt" modes.
