[sdiy] Schottky diode recommendation please

Hi all,

If I wanted a Schottky diode to use as a diode clamp to speed up a transistor's switching times, what would be a typical part to use?

I'm planning something like the image from this page:

For "normal" diodes, I'd always grab a 1N4148 as a standard part, but for schottky diodes I've got no idea what the equivalent "standard part" would be.

Thanks,
Tom
