[sdiy] V2164 vs. SSM2164, any known differences?

Hi all,

speaking of the 2164, are there any known performance differences
between the old Analog Devices SSM2164 and the current (sic!)
Coolaudio V2164?

I have some old DIP SSM2164s and would love to do measurements &
prototyping with them on breadbord - but only if they behave the same
as the SMT V2164 will in the end.

Also, on a side note:
Did anyone notice a price increase for the V2164 recently? I heard
some rumour about 30% higher prices from Coolaudio.
