No doubt it is useful. For the VCF the velocity modulation of both 
envelope amount and cutoff can be useful. I missed a "too" at the end of 
my phrase. It should read: "I'd never direct the velocity to the cutoff 
only, but always to the amounts of the envelopes _too_."
