Does anybody know the exact details of how the Lowery Marimba Repeat
arpeggiator works (think The Who and Baba ORiley)?  I'm trying to make it
in firmware and I'm stuck on a few details.  Google gives a few good
descriptions but the complete detailed description is always missing.

Basically it's a dual arpeggiator running synchronized.  Arp A is fed by
various notes in the scale playing only on the down beat.  Arp B is fed by
the remainder of the notes playing only on the up beat.  That much is
clear.  My questions are about how the notes to be played are arranged in
time for playback and how they enter and leave the set of notes to be
repeated.
