Hi Michael,
I pick up the synth tonight. The owner said he had tried several soft-key sequences.
I've read of the various sequences in the service manual and will try them upon getting the unit home.

Have you tried any of the boot up soft buttons? One of them resets everything including the RAM. The A6 can hang if it tries to load a corrupt patch on boot up. The soft buttons are in the user manual.
