Some of you may be familiar with the articles I wrote a long time ago about the math behind the sound of guitar pickups, specifically the effects of the physical parameters (position, width) and mixing pickups on the effective frequency response.

They're a little crufty, some day I'll update them...

But the third article in the series was a Java Applet that simulated all that stuff and made some pretty plots.  Back at the turn of the millennium Java Applets were the best way to place interactive graphics on the web... but times have changed and now they've become the absolute worst.  

So I had a hacking frenzy and finally updated the Pickup Response Demonstrator to HTML5/Canvas/JavaScript.  It should run on all browsers with ease.  And it even works on an iPad.  And it has a dozen new features.
