The schematics are broken up into five sheets.  The power supply (with the
reference voltage follower) are on Sheet 1, and this voltage is used on the
other four sheets.

I think that Don is probably right -- they shifted the audio to put it
within the range of the CMOS switch, and this was the easiest/cheapest way
to do it.  (However, use a DG4XX switch and this problem disappears.)  I was
just wondering if it was for some magical Moogy reason that I didn't
understand, but probably not.  It wouldn't change the sound at all (except
perhaps to encourage excessive clipping against the top rail).
